| [ALMOST] Carjacked! Z3 Roadster 2.8 (red) Our Z3 Roadster was almost carjacked today off of Centennial Drive in Flemington! 4 guys approached the car and forced my dad out. UPDATE You guys aren't going to believe this, when my dad called and said he'd been carjacked thats all he said so I immediately tried to get the word out. It actually turns out he wasn't exactly car jacked. Listen to this! He's stopped @ the lights and these guys pull up beside him and one hops out, opens the passenger door and kicks my dad in the head which causes major bleeding, my dad jumps out of the car (takes the car keys) and runs over to the passenger side, meanwhile the guy slams the door so hard it smashes the glass. The guy hits my dad in the head with a wooden bat, and another guy jumps out of the car and runs over to the driver's side and smashes the glass window (why the hell do they have to do that?) and jumps in and tries to hotwire it, this distracts my dad who cops another blow in the jaw. With his key in between his middle and index finger my dad attacks back by jabbing the key through his throat, leaving the guy staggering on the floor back to the car, a 3rd guy jumps out and tries to have a go at my dad with a baseball bat but he blocks with his arm (the bruises are so f***en huge!), and punches that guy a few times in the face - they both run back into the car. Meanwhile the guy still hopelessly tries to hotwire the z3 while my dad runs up to the driver and plans to grab the keys out of the ignition (he scares the driver by nearly missing jabbing his eye out with the keys) but finds there are no keys! Their car is also stolen! So realising this he refrains from bashing the door in as it isn't there car. The 2nd bloke is STILL trying to hotwire the car, and out of a packed set of red lights no one gets out to help. So my dad runs around to the driver side, drags the guy out and bashes his face in heaps until finally a guy going the opposite direction gets out to help. The whole time my dad said he was thinking "please don't hit the bodywork! the glass is replaceable!" lol. So my dad just fought off 4 bogans :P and has eyewitnesses to prove it. lol.  Good work for a little crazy asian man! (I guess it helps he knows the arts). THE CAR THEY WERE DRIVING: The plate was FLY-25T, it was a white Datsoon IS200 (or something, I can't remember what my dad said entirely about their car) So we still have the car! Hopefully insurance will cover the windows. But what I want to know is what the 5 other cars waiting at the lights were thinking. "ooo, must be a domestic between gay lovers! | That is awful, I really wish you the best of luck finding it in one piece and soon. Hope your Dad is ok too. I just cannot understand the mentality of people like that, it disgusts me!!

| My mum just got back from dropping my dad off and one of the eye witnesses said that he's seen more fights than years he's been alive and he's never seen anyone fight so well... don't mess with the crazy little asian man! Also, he wasn't sure if it was road rage or what, but if he'd had known they were trying to carjack the z3 he would've shoved his 10 tonne truck over the intersection so they wouldn't get away; also he said the Stolen car's driver seemed to be a v.good driver, I'm not sure why he said that but yeah... | Holy crap man thank god ur dad's relatively alright... i'm just having trouble understanding how they managed to escape??

| Well my dad went to grab the ignition keys from their car... but it was hotwired so there were none and they must've just sped off I guess! And yeah my dad ended up only with a swollen jaw, gash on his forehead and the biggest mofu of a bruise on his arm from where the bat hit him. :P better than the guy wih a hole in his throat I guess. | O shit thats ****ed up. Im glad ur dad got out alright. Most ppl have guns when they try to steal cars. Did police end up showing up? Did an ambulance get to ur dad? Tell him to get a gun permit and carry that in his car or something. Thats hella scary especially cause they targeted the bimmer and most of us here are driving BMWs.

| Yeah well he had the roof down so it's a bit easier than your standard BMW. Anyway so just remember - Take the keys out if any sh*t goes down! BMW are pretty much idiot proof. I would've laffed hard if it was an iDrive :P lol. just spin the knob randomly before they drag you out and watch as he locks himself in and turns the air con up to 50 degrees. lol. Anyway yeah they'd been tailing him for a while and originally my dad thought they wanted to drag because the guy goes: "nice car" and my dad acknowledges them then the guy goes "it's my car now" :P and yeah hopped outta the car and u know the rest. Apparently these guys had been doing it since 4am. Looks like they just picked on the wrong lil azn. |

| tell us what ur dad studied like did he study martial arts alot or just good on his feet? and wtf? if he put a hole in one guys throat and the other guys eye wouldnt the cops pull them up when they went to hospital? id like to know what happens? best of wishes to ur dad and i hope everything is ok

| No he refrained from jabbing the guys eye out, see my dad's Christian :P (converted) so it's been a while since he's bashed anyone. lol. But yeah he said the guy was shitting himself when my dad motioned to jab him in the face (to distract him so he could grab the keys). The copper said he should've done it though, as they can no longer sue you for that stuff and it would've made tracking them down easier; they can only sue you if you have a superior weapon to them, eg. a gun. but if both parties have guns go for it  And yup the other guy he jabbed in the throat, I dunno? Maybe it wasn't anywhere fatal or anything so the wound will heal outside of hospital? This happened intersection of Centennial Drive and Arthur St, the corner of the Golf course @ around 7:00am. |
