I highly recommend getting an M Coupe. When I first set my eyes on one a few years ago I thought they were ugly. That was only until I drove one and saw them on the road a few times. I then started my quest to own one. Since I've owned one, I have people pull me over to tell me how nice the car is and they want to sit in it.

In my honest opinion, if you like the car...get it. Don't worry what your friends have to say about it because everyone is entitled to their own personal opinions. And believe me...my friends did the same thing to me when I was shopping for the car and all they want to do now is drive it.

With just a few mods and the new TMS CAM in it's final stages of development, there won't be too many cars on the road that will be able to smoke you after you throw in the 3.45 diff.

Enjoy,

I totally agree with what you are saying and I want one so BAD! I keep seeing this Red Dinan M coupe drive by around my area and it's so sweet. Especially when it has a Dinan Exhaust.

Man, I saw an M-coupe when I was at Thunderhill in Willows CA, and man... that thing is like a little rocket ship! Smokin' I haven't quite acquired the taste for that car, but man that thing can run!

With only 250-260 RWHP, the M3 or M coupe would both be rated at less than their stated numbers. I saw a dyno sheet for an e46 m3 that had a certain fuse removed so the dyno would be accurate, and there was something like 290 RWHP.

Well, AAs dyno is a Mustang unit, so the numbers are significantly lower because of that. But just looking at the two in comparison to one another is pretty shocking.

Actually, the 2001s come with the 315hp motor and someone has run a 13.1 bone stock with that car. Add a more aggressive final drive ratio and bump the redline to 8000 and it will be a high 12 second car.

I LOVE M coupes, still thinking about getting one...but I always liked to stand out from the crowd. Thats the car you drive and dont care what people think.

Props to Omar: the sickest M coupe known to man.
Check AA if youre interested in knowing what it is
