| Hey guys I was wondering this the other day.... For Xmas my girlfriend wanted a short shifter in her 87 325i I was going to go with the Z3 kit but then a few of you said to use the shift lever from a S54 M Coupe. I was wondering if all the parts you use are the same as the Z3 kit except the lever or is there a whole list of different parts you need to use? Any help would be much appreciated because this is going to be a Christmas present. Thank you very much! |

| Yep, the Mcoupe being shorter would take more effort, but if she wants the "Short Shift" definitely go with the M-Coupe. I've got the UUC kit and I can't anything but good about it.

| Thanks guys. I think that I will be doing this to my car also. So all I really need is the m coupe shifte lever? I also want to get rid of all the sloppiness too.... Last edited by Np32683 : 12-05-2002 at 05:24 PM. |
