Z coupes and M coupes

I was thinking about looking into getting a Coupe this coming summer, and was wondering what the going rates of one is now, and what insurance is like, in contrast to a same year M3. Or if any one wants to sell me there car next summer , give me an asking price. Year isn't a concern, its more of a what i can afford. Would it be possible to get either a Z or an M coupe for 20k, i figure an M is out of the question, but hey its worth asking. Thanks for reading my pointless ramblings

If I were you, I would buy a Z3 3.0L and pop a blower on it.

yeah it would be sweet, but any idea what that would cost me, I know an Supercharger for my car would set me back 5100 or so

Don't think you could pick up either for 20K, not for a couple years yet at least. Actually, I saw an M Coupe going for 20k, but it had 120K miles on it.

i have seen Z coupes for 20k with the 3.0l with 40k miles on them.
I haven't really been able to find very many M coupes for sale.

There are a couple M coupes here for sale, but they go for low to mid 30 Ks

postmaster, the M coupe in that link is gorgeous! Assuming the title history checks out OK and it's never been wrecked, I would definitely get that car. If only I had $24k
