seeing one in person is definitely something I can brag about since there were only 6 imported here
the front looks like an M1, too bad they didnt make an M version out of the Z1, or did they

Yeah there are more than 6 here now. People actually bring them in fairly regularly on show & display permits.

No factory M edition, but some company is dropping old school M5 engines into them over in europe.

FYI: The Z1 was called the "Z" because it was the 1st "1" BMW to have the Z style suspension.

Aww...so it's not a BMW 7er with a 7.7L V-12...

Man, I love all these quirky and incredibly rare cars BMW has built (well...not the Isetta...).

Yeah, that's about what they go for in Europe as well. $25k and under is average for these cars "across the pond".

Theres a margarine yellow one (yuk but hey, its a Z1) for sale down the road from me...been for sale ages, hes in no rush to sell. Cant remember the details but I think its £14,500...cheap car
