Talking Somewhat OT: Pics of Alpina RLE (Z1)

My Friend just got back from Germany, and had these pics to show. Here is a little information on the car:

"a little info for you dave !!!!! RLE roadster limited edition 66 were made and half sent to japan while other 33 in germany. Each center cap of wheel is marked with production number around the alpina logo... and same with the steering wheel logo and a special plaque on center console for this car..... very nice"

Thanks!
Dave

only if you dig the looks. the car is weak. it had a m20 in it, alpina removed the m20 b25 and replaced it with a 2.7 liter eta strooker making only about 200 hp. the m3 will out run out handle and out shine this car even on its worst day.

Anything Alpina can make in a week? Thats not a lot, then. How long does it take to make some of their stuff? I guess you could probably sell the floormats and pedals, what else takes less than a week to make?

Oh, and just for the sake of having a 1/66 ever made car, and a Z1 at that, Id be willing to trade something big for it. It doesnt matter that its not that powerful, its just rare, and its a Z1, and it looks pretty nice.

That strut bar is useless unless it is bolted to the firewall somewhere. Will those seats fit in the E30 M3??????????

You M3 elitists are funny. This Z1 has more horsepower and torque, and basically the same weight (+12lbs) as the e30 M3, yet you believe it would be eating your dust in every respect.

Yes, of course you would not trade your car for one worth at least 10X what yours is. Why, that would be just foolish!

Dave
