i barley see M3's... only 1 at the dealer every morning when i go to school and come home from school... that's the only M3 i see everyday but once in awhile i see a M3 around town

Where I live E36 M3's are a dime a dozen, no joke. I love the way they look but they are seriously everwhere. I have at least 9 friends with M3's and 2 friends with M coupe/roadster. Already there must be at least 10-15 E46 M3's in town, 2 of which i know. Its actually kind of depressing when there are more Ferrari's than there are people with my car. Its funny though cause seeing a Ferrari is no big deal but when I drive around people are always asking about my car.

I do realize that this town is the exception and not the rule, but its weird to me to hear that M3's are rare. Damn I guess I am really losing touch with reality by living here.

that's a sweet supra!... if you were in my town you'll be turning heads

... i see one supra like once in awhile in the morning as i go to school but i think it's a non-turbo and i think it's an old guy

Lately I've been seeing more E46 M3s than E36 M3s.

I've only seen a few yellow ones

I will say that when I first saw the Coupe in magazines, I didn't like it.

But seeing in real life & 3D well it's totally takes peope's breath away. The roadster, I think are for the limp wristed or females.

With all due respect to the e36 &e46, there are just too many & no matter how much you trick it out, it's just wearing a different cap.

Here's a little secret: in 2 years you can probably get a 315 HP- e46 M3 engined Coupe for <$30K & it's built like a rock! Unless you guys bid up the prices!

Pimp factor: I was @ the gym last night & a grade 10+ hottie that I thought never even noticed me came up & just stared @ it & ask for a ride. Shit like that never happens to me! Until the Batmobile came into my life!

i think basically the thing is whether people are luke warm to the looks, fuckin love them, or think there fugly, EVERYONE notices the car.

I see quite a few Ferrari's in my town also...there is a dealer right down the street. Seeing one is kinda common but I still love em. M3's theres only like 5 or 6 in the town including and E46. Not a big performance neighborhood. Most people here drive big ass trucks. Theres one guy down the street with 3 hummers...one for him, his son, and his wife. A few Lamborghini drivers one of which is only 19!!!!!!!
