z3 1.9 needed rear shock mounts at only 60k.

anybody have the same problem?
my 96 z3 only had 60k and the back suspension was making annoying noise all the time so i just got the rear shock mounts replaced and the old ones look pretty bad.

anyone else have this problem. it must be common?

It is very common for them to fail. e46 M3 mounts are more durable. With stiffened up suspension, they can fail in a year.

Yes its common. If you have not had them replaced yet, get a new set from groud control. They will last forever

And if the GCs don't last forever, which I have heard of a couple people wearing theirs out, GC will send you new inserts free. Pay $99 and never worry about them again.
