Z3 no longer in production

How do you guys feel now that the Z3 is no longer gonna be produced???

Personally, I never liked the car's looks. I never got to ride in one so I don't know how well they handle.

What's your take on it??? Big loss for BMW enthusiasts or no loss at all???

I didn't know it went out of production. I thought they just restyled it and it will be out soon.

Well, they are redesigning them, not killing them off. If Bangle has his way, they may as well kill them off.

Oh well.

The new one is out next year isnt it? How come they have stop producing the current one before the replacement is finished?

Are you sure??? In the little news letter that I got it didn't say anything about redesigning them. It just said that they will no longer be made.

Its called marketing. It creates pent up demand for the new car.

My pops had a 2.8 when it first came out and I had a 3.0 for a loaner from BMW for about 2 weeks. I really liked it. The back slipped a lot when i was pushing corners, but that was a pretty damn quick car. Low 14's I belive. Also, i dont believe they are getting rid of the Z, just redesigning.

Ohhhhhh, actually I miss read it. They are discontinuing the current Z3 model and are introducing a new design. Can't believe I missed that.

Is it me or, is BMW also putting angel eyes in the Z3's taillights
as well?
