The kit itself was $5995, just for the Stage I.

The Stage II is another $2500 regularly.

My baseline dyno sucked ass. 212hp at the wheels, which is roughly 250hp at the crank. The SC boosted me to 295hp at the wheels, which is roughly 345hp at the crank. Good for most, but not good enough for me. The Stage II kit arrives this week along with a smaller pulley. If all goes well, we should get close to that ever-elusive 400hp mark at the crank.

I'll keep you posted.

How much hp at the wheels do we usually get from our stock engine?

205hp at the wheels stock.

My 212hp came from the Shark Injector and intake. So, there is proof that the thing works.

Yes, Curry's has earned my business through their excellent customer service.

They will also be doing the STi upgrades on the WRX.

So what i don't get is this. If you are upgrading to a stage 2 sc, does that mean u still use the same sc that is in ur car, or u need to replace that sc with a better one and have a different crank pully that bump up the psi?

Can u give me some detail plz? I want to SC the M Coupe also.

btw, does chipping the ecu gain any performance at all? thx.

Same Vortech blower, but we bolt on the aftercooler (it's basically an intercooler, but they can't call it that for some reason). In addition, we will replace the existing pulley with a smaller pulley that will spin the blower faster to create more airflow. Cooler air plus more air equals more power, so long as you get the right mixture of air and fuel.

As far as chipping, I had to erase my Shark Injector programming and go with RMS software. I will have to reflash my computer yet again when the Stage II is installed to take advantage of the increased boost pressure.

Does this help?

Check my recent dyno chart in the General section.

I'm digging it! 320.1 HP at the wheels with just the Stage I kit.

Woohoo!

Check out the Stormtrooper!

Did you ever notice that the WRX looks like a Stormtrooper from Star Wars?

It will be getting the Stage 4 TurboXS kit instead of the STi package. Should put down 270 at the wheels. Yikes!
