Prototype Z1 M Roadster?

A few years ago I ran into a website that listed all of the BMW M prototypes which included a Z1 M Roadster. It had a photo of the car in Hellrot with a special aero kit and mirrors. Anyone seen this and have a link to it?

THAT orange thing is ugly compared to the unmodified version...

This is a joke, right?

The MZ1 should have a S50B30 dropped in, and nothing else touched...

(course, what would I know about that? heheheheeh)

That pic does not look anything like a BMW factory prototype. Black wheels are pretty much a dead giveaway that it's a tuner car, and that headlight style didn't exist until a decade after BMW would have designed a Z1 M.

No it is definately a BMW prototype. I found another picture of it from a spy photos listing of all BMW M cars. It showed a side view of the roadster. If you recall the BMW e31 M8 prototype, it used the e34 M5 wheels without the covers which had 5 black spokes. I'm not sure but they may have used those for this car as well.
