| long time Z3 Love, first time buyer Hi My name is John and about a couple of months ago i purchased my first Z3(1.9L '97). I have just clocked 100,000KM....Does anyone know what i need to do for the 100,000KM service. Do the Z3's have timing belts, and if so, when do I need to change it? |

| Congrats on the new purchase! I'll be honest in that I don't know the first thing about maintaining a 1.9L, but hopefully someone else will chime in. Let's see some pics when you get a chance.

| hey mtechnik, Before I bought the Z3 I had an E30 as well. I had fitted an E46 M3 bodykit to it, M3 Mirror, M3 grilles in the guards, and dropped a 2.7L alpina motor in it.......Unfortunately some lebanese guy ran into the back of me and it got ridden off. The insurance paid me out for it.......I was sad when I saw them towing it away. I've always loved E30's.........Being an architect I needed a car with a bit of class, hence why I moved up to a Z3. I might buy an E30again later down the track and do it up as a show car. |
