the car looks like darth vader. i dont doubt its performance, but whats the point of building it???

i would prolly get an M3, or if i really wanted the 2 seater, the m roadster.

I've driven all 5 ///M cars, and I have no reservations in saying that the M coupe is my favorite. Sure, I may be biased, but it is the god honest truth. The M coupe is a barren enthusiast's car. The ride is hard, the trunk is small. There is no on board computer. The M coupe sticks to the basics and does everything extremely well. The acceleration, handling, sound, and overall feel are non-pareil. I love it.

Word from my dealer was that they built them so they could be homologated(?) into some racing class....Kind of what BMW should have done with the V8 M3 to keep them running in ALMS. Once again, this is coming from a dealer so take it for what it's worth to ya....

EDIT - And if I had the $$ I'd buy one...315hp sold for 1-2 years...Can't spell collectors item many other ways..

I LOVE that car. I've read all about it and have been intrigued since it's inception. Never had the chance to drive one though.
