BMW M Roadster VS BENZ SLK320

Obviously the m roadster. the damn thing does 0-60 in roughly 4.8 seconds now. The slk320 is 6.6 seconds to 60. Please check the websites in the future as that makes this a very easy question to answer.

Some of the Mercs put out enormous power, but lose alot of time via the auto gear box, and the bulky weight. They need 385 hp to 0-60 in 5.0 flat.

What???? The new AMG Slk 320 is the fastest production Mercedes ever made,that thing does 0-60 in 4.2.It will burn an M Couple guys!

4.6 seconds and that's by C&D, imagine what MT could do. Anyway, the only SLK AMG is a tad faster straightline, but gets killed when it comes to turns, especially with its auto.

Theres a comparision of the two cars in R&T I think (maybe its another majory mag..I forget). The Benz was faster than the new M Roadster in a straight line but the M was still called the best car overall.

hahha yea NO. the slk 32(which was never mentioned ) does 0 to 60 in 4.8 (damn auto) with 349 hp coming from a s/c 3.2 liter v6. the m rodster has 315 horses out of a detuned m3 inline six. both are very well matched. soon as the merc figures out wtf a manual gear box is the benz will smoke the bimmer.(dont flame its tru!)

Not really, the Merc is set up too soft and they know how to make a manual but there is no customer demand for it.

C&D got it down to 4.5 and 1/4 in 13 flat.

4.2 my ass. There is a big different between low 4's and high 4's when you are that fast.

what do you mean no demand. hello I WANT ONE! and yea those fackers are quick. 350 hp. its got to be atleast mid 4's. the clk 55. same hp more weight is a 4.8 sec car so the smaller slk has to be quicker

the four door? when they first came out they did. then they trashed the manual feture. the slk also has a 6 speed but the amg version doesnt. go figure?!? i think the new coupe c class has the manual. is that what your talking about
