Z3 angel eyes?

I know some hate this topic but..

How many of you with Z cars would be interested in angel eyes for your cars. They would not be cheap (maybe 500-600??), but they would be new Z3 light assemblies with the angel eyes mounted and wired, all you would have to do is plug and play.

How would that look? The hi-beams and lo-beams aren't the same shape in terms of the chrome trimming where the angel eyes would go. Just curious. Got any pics?

Shes all pissed because the E36's and 46's got them and the Z cars were left out of the loop.

Heres the deal thus far,
My mom has a Z3, and I think they could be done, making them not rings, but (0)(0) (0)(0), basically replacing the chrome on the newer ones. However, this would require some extensive modding and cutting; also, the assemblies arent "SUPPOSED" to come apart, although I have my ways.

I know someone that has a set laying around; I am going to acquire them and make a prototype, probably in the next week or so. Another nice thing about the shape is that they would have double the LED's, and thus be brighter.

The only current issue I am having is price. The headlights alone are 265 a piece!, so I may have two prices, where you can send me yours for modification, or I could sell you new ones (obviously they will not be cheap if the headlights alone are over 500).

edit: after all, i was the first with E38 angel eyes...

Is this also the case for the US E36 assemblies?

I have my angel eye kit already and if there is a way for me to AVOID getting ellipsoids, I'm all for it.

how do Z3 headlights look like?? no ellipsoid?

won't think angel eyes will look great on it...
