| BMW makes a ton of diesels but I don't see how they could fit a 7.8 in that engine bay... Isn't the biggest X5 (gas) motor a 4.4?

| All the sites say that the largest Diesel is 3.0L. But I've never seen an X5 with a 6-speed. Anyone know the largest 7er diesel? -Prince |

| The guy is selling you bullshit. The largest diesel offered in a BMW is a 4.0 liter twin-turbo common rail V8. Its only in the 7-series and not on any other BMW. The X5 does have a 6 cylinder diesel though outside of the USA.
