| This recall does not effect the australain X5's.....the only recall for the X5 they had here was 2002 models had seatbelt buckle problems....read below:- BMW X5 Vehicles - Campaign 00 72 15 01 00 Date: 03/03/2003 Supplier: BMW Australia Limited Category: Motor Vehicles Product Info: BMW X5 (E53) model. Defect details: The reinforcing ring within the front lower seatbelt buckles may not have been securely crimped into the seatbelt tensioner cable. | i got the same problem in my 7ser, the passenger front seat belt is a pain in the ass to clip in,,, but its a good excuse to lean over and help the lovely women in my car to clip it in .... HI THERE 8-) ( o )( o ) ... seat belt is in now, it's okay. |
