Okey guys I am at a crossroad.. should I buy an X5 or Mercedes ML430 or 500. I just read Mercedes forum and man those ML are trouble... Just want to know if any owner with an X5 experience problem with their cars??? Thanks

I am not experienced at this kind of vehicles but at least I can say that you should prefer the make which was sold more in your country or city.

My friend has an ML and loves it, but it gives him trouble, another frined has the X5 4.4 and loves it.. no problems yet and hes had it for about 3 months now i believe...

I think that ML series is not as good as G series.
So X5 is better than the MLs...

I would go with a ML if it was the ML55....but a 4.4 sport is the way to go

4.4 is that the top of the line for the X5? I was thinking about the ML55 AMG but didn't like the flare on the bumper.. But your ride is hella sick kroger..

The price for the ML55 I believe was 55-65k.. How much for the 4.4 X5?.. thanks for your input

Top of the line for an X5 is the 4.6is, rare but oh so worth the money if you have it.

$68k about,

0-60 in 6.2

340hp (don't quote me on the numbers)

I work for a dealership, so you can call me biased......but I would take a 4.6is over an ML any day. Even the 4.4i is better than an ML.....maybe not an ML55 AMG....but the 4.6 is. (opinion only

)

So now here it goes again.. ML55 AMG or the 4.6...it a HUGH investment (if you can call it investment)...But I think I am going with the ML55 AMG.. No disrepect for the 4.6.. Love BMW but want to give Mercedes a try since my dad 00 S500 was sooo sweet... let home it last me

Okey Okey.. I cave in.. I'll go and give the 4.6 a test drive.. BMW of San Diego as one (not the color i want though

You can order any color and option packages from the factory if you're patient and can wait a couple months.......shipping strike is over

don't be dissatisfied because of a wrong color, take the time to REALLY like it.

But you probably knew that.....

made appointment this weekend for a test drive.. Had to do a credit check just for a test drive??? Well. I spoke with the salesman he stated I can custom the car anyway I want it... oh yeah, will take up to 6 MONTHS...Oh Weee that long wait.. But hey after my test drive if it sound as good as you guys stated.. then it worth the wait.. I'll let you guys know after my test drive... Here the kicker starting price WITHOUT Options 71K.. Is that the right price for them cars??? Or the dealer just cashing in on me??
