crazy. whats going on with bmw.... does this happen with other car manufacturers?.... i mean the new m3 have problems, the new 7 i think has problems now the mini?... i know the engines arent made by bmw but still its under their name and its giving us a bad rep!!!

come on you german engineers!!! get with the program!!!

Amazingly, Damiler Chrysler. BMW struck a deal in 98 with Chrysler, Merc took over...they are made in Brazil. So for the 2007 Mini, BMW are teaming up with PSA Peugeot Citroen to build the new engines, which will include a diesel. Got to keep the cost down...

As for recalls, its nothing to worry about- loads of manufacturers have them, often caused by rushing a car through. As long as they fix the problem though its no big deal really...unless its your truck blowing up when hit from the side, or your tyres blowing

its impossible to build a car with no problems, but i wasnt too impressed when i saw the report that 1/100 bmw's will have a problem that needs to be fixed by the dealer.

i have had at least 6, and the airbag light is STILL on, go figure

i heard it on the radio yesterday the x5 recall is simple pin at the brake pedal and the mini im not to shure on

Yea that recall came into BMW of FAirfax VA just recently. I don't think we have experienced any of those at our dealership but the problem will be fixed. It's not that big of a deal you always have the hand brake.
