that le mans x5 was driven by none other than legendary BMW factory driver Hans Stuck. and he broke the 8 minute barrier on the nurmburgring. a thing few "cars" can break. hit like 190+ mph on the straights. goes to show u what BMWs are, ultimate driving machines; pure and simple.

ya i read the article about that too. it said that a few cars that ran under 8 minutes are porche gt1 and gt2 and jaguar xj220. i think that's pretty god damn good for any car, let alone an sav not even the m5, e46 m3, and z8 have that kinda time around the 'Ring. this is the kinda stuff we need bmw to produce.. don't u people love knowing u own a car made by the best car company on earth?

i read about it a long time ago in an issue of Roundel.. had great track times on some track, i forget which.. i think it even beat out a porsche.. the front & rear racing seats are sick
