| Latest X3 Spy Pixs  Quoting a UK website: New X3 "These are the very first pictures of BMW’s upcoming X3 crossover. Based on a modified all-wheel-drive 3-Series platform and a few bits and pieces from the X5 (primarily the front axle and steering rack), this wagon-styled SUV will carry over the now-familiar styling cues of its big brother, the X5. Although this obviously is wearing fake panels to disguise the shape and styling details, the Graz, Austria-built X3 is expected to start actual production in early 2004. Measuring in right between the 3-Series touring and the X5, the X3 is hoping to fill a narrow gap. With more load space area than the X5, prices should start at around £28,000 in the UK. Engines are to include a 2.2, 2.5 & 3.0 Litre including the 3.0 Litre Diesel. The 3.6-litre M version will follow in 2005 or early 2006."

| M Version?! That sucks. M means motorsports. are they going to rally race this thing? If not, the 'M' name is cheapened. Besides it looks like a Toyota Rav4. My $.02. |

| NOW THIS WILL BE A CAR I WOULD HAVE TO GET USED TO, IT LOOKS TO BOXY FOR ME. BUT HEY ITS STILL FAR FROM THE FINAL PRODUCTION CAR.

| This isnt what its going to look like. Its pretty much like an X5 with different headlamps and also technology such as idrive from the 7 series. Have you seen the V12 LMR X5? One of the fastest (cars / trucks whatever you call it  ever at NurbergringCT |
