It was Hans Stuck who drove that X5 around the 'ring (in under 8 mins I believe). The time was faster than the NEW 911 Turbo that ran it the day before. It was driven by a BIG German Car mag, so they were good drivers no doubt. Admitedly, Stuck is one of the best there is so, that has a part of it, but c'mon, an SAV going around the 'ring that fast? Only BMW could do it.

ya i remember reading the article that said it ran the ring in i think it was 7:49.. which is pretty effing amazing.. that beats the m5, m3, and z8.. the only other cars that were near it are the jaguar xj220, porsche gt3 i believe, and maybe something else.. i dont remember, i read the article a long time ago. but that is definetly one bad ass car

ya i remember when i read it, the time was well under 8 minutes.. it was either 7:47 or 7:49.. i don't remember.. but either way that is a crazy ass time.. can u imagine seeing that big ass car hauling ass on turns? jesus..
