x5 is fuxored a bit

So i was doing some donuts last night for a little while, in my backyard since there is a considerable amount of land and I got up this morning to grab some breakfast and the steering is messed up a little.. I think the power steering somehow got fucked up.. what are the possible issues that need to be checked? I'm thinking the power steering may have boiled over or something.. any input would be great..

well what do you mean messed up? like its hard as fuck to turn the steering wheel? If that is the case then it is your power steering. Me and my buddies were doing some offroading in some stock jeep andthe power steering went out on it, but was back to normal in a few days.

well yea.. its not completely out, but can be hard to turn at some moments.. it also is making noise when turning.

, also X5s are not meant for being driven off road (contrary to what some people may believe) even though they r technically SUVs

yea.. didnt really go offroading.. just on some flat grass.. still kinda weak for the steering to gets messed up after some donuts on grass.

check the fluid level. The belt might also be loose or have something in it.

your fluid is low, or you over worked the pump.

Check the front wheels.

325i is better for doing donuts on grass than an X5.

if its making noises when you turn the wheel and it gets a bit hard every now and then, then its more than likely low on fluid. you might have a leak in the system somewhere, or you might have just boiled it.

i'd say change/top up the fluid and see what happens then.
