Wait I am confused... what do you mean when you say you only have the "red edition"? In the pictures I saw of the new X50's they were all blue. Blue logo on top and blue LED lights...

If ya'll would take a gander at the ol Escort site you would see that Escort charges you an extra 40 bucks for the blue edition X50. Yes thats right folks, for those who drive VW, the radar detector can now match the gagues. I still have 3 left. The Red ones that is....lol

It's not really worth it. Most states use laser, and X50 is Radar based. Not only is X50 radar based, but its more expensive than laser, and not direct target. Laser you point at one car, and u get the speed of that one car, x50 will return the speed of whatever car it hits, and you can't tell if its in a pack. X50 also has to be stationary, laser doesnt HAVE to be stationary. so as of now... its not really worth it.

I'm not going to fight with you dorks on the subject. You all know that Laser Guns are expensive as fuck and most states only have a few, really depending upon population. The X50 is a fricken clone of the 8500 with a quoted better "pop mode" and what not, even though pop mode even my the manufactures of radar guns is said to be BS, cause it isn't very accurate. http://www.radartest.com is a great source for those who like to debate. I'm just trying to give you DTMer's a nice discount on a great radar/laser detector. I love BMW more than life itself. Chris...the price for an X50 just went up to full retail for you....lol...jk...I love u guys....
