Gentlemen, it's been a little while since I've been on this board, but think this would be a great excuse to see everyone again. I'm one of the event organizers...

The Golden Gate Chapter of the BMW CCA and Valley Christian Center present Valley Speed Auto Show 2007. A barbecue meet and gathering of domestic and import cars in Dublin, California to benefit New Orleans residents still affected by Hurricane Katrina.

June 30th - Saturday from 11am to 2pm
Valley Christian Center, Dublin - 7500 Inspiration Drive, 94568 (Right off the 580/680 interchange.
Admission is free.
Vendor booths!
Parking is limited to 200 cars.

Come enjoy $1 Barbecue Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and Sodas. All proceeds and donations will go directly to a local church in New Orleans to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina.


100% of the proceeds from the sales of the BBQ items and any cash donations will go to 2 LOCAL CHURCH GROUPS:
1) House of Prayer - An Assembly of God church on Canal Street in New Orleans. This church was levelled and is now back reaching out to their community to help families in need. Another Church is considering helping them with an afternoon computer lab and tutoring program which will help the kids in their community get back into school. Many of the kids have yet to return to school and are getting behind quickly.

2) St Luke's - also an Assembly of God Church in the 9th Ward of New Orleans. St Luke's serves their members who have returned to try and rebuild. I'm sure there are ongoing needs within the church and it's memberhsip, so any donations would go a long a way.


VENDORS - We'd love to have you guys show up. We can cut you a super great deal on a booth, FREE. Just let me know that you want to show up.

I could really use everyone's help to help promote this thing. I want not only BMWs but Audis, Vettes, NSXs, S2000's etc. It's a nice and quiet BBQ and meet format, nothing like HIN... but Valley Christian was good enough to let us have a parking lot that easily fits 200 cars.

If you are interested in going, please post to this list. If you can help with some of the leg work like posting to other forums, helping with the BBQ on that day, etc. post and or shoot me an email or call.
