| first time bimmer owner heyz people.... ummm im a 1st time 5 series owner on thursday im getting the 528i 2000 model... just wanting to get an opinion on these things from you BMW guru's Im getting it of my dad (cheap) as he bought a merc clk320 1999 model. and just wondering on if i should put on a m5 style front bumber bar or not? what are you guys thinking? dad says "NO" as it is a BMW and nothing on bimmers need to be changed and just leave it all original. I love the way the car looks now but i love the m5 front bumber so much more. i know its a BMW and i should leave it original but im really not sure on what to do..... and would love to know what use are all thinking? ohh yeah and will post up pics as soon as i can once the car is handed over to me which should be this Thursday thanks in advance |

| yeppp thats exacly what i mean.... i drove it around last night just to the carwash (dad isnt letting me untill i get it insured) lol but dudes the car is immac. it drives like a beauty soooo smooth and nice thanks for your help ANILE8 & davodinkum, its made me think a bit more now. it does look better with the front bumper but hey at the end of the day its a bimmer and its a beautiful car how it is, if i add on front bumper then its not an original 528i and saves me saving up money for the bumper hehe in my opinion it looks good as it is and yeahhhh. thanks again.... (great to see that the people in the "victoria" section in these forums, people are actually helping out and giving advice whereas in the "M5 & 5 series" section of the forums no one even bothers replying. i posted the exact same post there befor i posted it in this "victoria" section and no one wanted to reply) ![]() |

But IMO, the M5 has a sexy bumper... It's like the 3 series, everyone wants an M3 kit because they look so good, I would love to have an M3 look on my 325i 4dr, so I do plan to get one... But it's your car, so it's up to you, but I'd say get the M5 kit
