more power

i have a 98 318is and wanting to know the best way to increase power gains without getting too drammatic.ie no turbos, help appreciated thanks.

do a search, there have been many threads started about power in M44's..

everyone will state you cant get any decent power without a) FI or b) sell car and buy a 6cyc..

Otherwise for placebo power gains you can try the following
- K & N pannel/pod filter
- 2.25" exhaust
- short shift kit

Your money would be better spent on some good shocks/springs combo for better handling..

went down your track 5 years ago and wasted 10 folds the cash i should have trying to make a 318is fast, handled like a dream tho.. 1.8/1.9's built for cruising, not racing jap imports!
