| You might want to replace the globes - if you didn't already. When I put in rings I changed all the globes and I got so much more light. I ended up replacing all the interior globes (MID Computer, headlight switch etc.) Did not do the window swtiches though. |

| Just to let everyone know that this problem has now been fixed, it was in fact two globes that needed replacing. i blew them when i put the plugs back in to the back of the cluster. Also just a warning to anyone who is considering taking their instrument cluster out, this will cause your airbag sensor to go off (air bag light will come on) and this will need to be reset by bmw, well that was the case it with me anyway. cheers |
