| Greetings I would just like to say hello to the DTM community having just joined recently. Three weeks ago I purchased through private sale a 1996 M3 Evolution in Technoviolet and am concentrating mainly on restoring the car to original condition. From there my goal is to begin modifying it with only subtle differences in appearance. Basically working on increasing kW at the wheels; firstly a new chip and exhaust (leaning towards Remus) then from there perhaps a supercharger or small turbo running low PSI. Obviously I wish to keep the reliability and handling of the M3 intact as much as possible or perhaps even install better suspension and stiffen the chassis. My overall goal with this car is to make it even more superb without detracting from the pure feel and intention of what makes it unique. Any suggestions on what brands or setup for the aforementioned upgrade parts would be much appreciated. Glad to be a member of my first car community. Jin |
