Exhaust?? Hi again, Im thinking to put a exhaust on my car. What do yous recommend? i dont want it to sound like a jap car which ive seen on other bmw's. I like the sound of the 325i they have the twin exhaust. thanks =o)

I've got a 328i exhaust from the Cat-Back with a custom Y piece in it (single - twin pipes), and it sounds just right IMO! That's on my E36 318iS 1994.

I have a remus on my 98 318is sound is nice and quiet with a little chuckle at idle. if you want the best sound from the 4 pot just remove the Muffler hehehe sounds great, real throaty.

have a look at xforce.com.au, they sell in most good mufflers shops, for about $220each plus fitting costs. they have a wide range of mufflers, the twin tip that curves up looks realy nice on BMW's and a lot of guys in Sydney have them on their cars.

i just recomend a sports rear muffler...It does the job...Not to loud just a little bit of noisee. and sounds very good...Because soon as u put a full exhaust on a bmw there way to loud..

You can install a complete exhaust system and it not be way too loud. I have one fitted to my 4cyl bmw and it is fine. To avoid the rice burner sound do not install a big 5inch cannon muffler and you will be fine. Try to aim for a off the shelf Remus, Supersprint, Devil or something of similar quality if you want piece of mind.
