Group Buy - Shift knobs

I have contacted a mob in UK about shipping a GB on various shift knobs out here to good 'ol OZ. They have said they would love to help and are going to get back to me. As a guide they did one to USA for ACS knob for $100US ($170AUD) shipped. Shipping should not be much as they can be posted through general mail.

They are going to get back to me with the full range and price.

nothing is wrong with stock shift knobs...just like nothing is wrong with stock rims, tyres, seats etc etc etc....

$170 sounds pretty expensive for just a shift knob

well, compared to my $28 buy

... though it does retail at $120.
I got the one on my car about a year ago from Canterbury BMW Spare Parts. Someone screwed up the order and so they got 10 times what they were supposed to, thanks to an extra zero on the end

so they were letting them go at cost price. I grabbed 3, sold 2 on ebay for $90 each

Went there a few weeks ago planning to buy about 10 and let them go on ebay, but they only had one left. So i decided to keep it as a spare. Heres a dodgy pic i just took:

In reply 2 that, auto guys suck, who wants 2 make performance gear for autos? ummmm because there auto. Performance and auto dont go together, what racing cars (except drag wankers) are auto????

Hate to break it to you, but performance and auto can go together. New Merc AMG E55 will do 0-100 in 4.4 and yes its an AUTO. You think thats performance or is it too slow for you??
