GB on catz 4500 -6000k HID kits *pics*

I know that CATZ has a great HID system. People better get on in this GB soon. Dont miss the chance!!!!! If I didnt have HIDs, I would of gotton in this Gb. Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!! So all get in on this.

Just FYI...I was about to purchase the Catz kit from www.liteswap.com, so I inquired about the price. They will match the GB price now ($410). You can check for yourself, email info@liteswap.com for details.

I went to their webpage; they have 4500k kits listed at $500 regular and $470 at their "special" price. You are telling me that you told them to match a GB price, and that they agreed to drop sixty bucks?

Is that even 410 shipped from the company?

Next time keep your info to yourself instead of trying to bash a good deal.

well, the info u gave doesnt work. In any case, the Catz system offered at this price is great, we just need people to make this happen. Also, not to mention eurospeed Performance's deals are exceptionally great, not to mention also that their tevh support is excellent. If there ever is a problem, u know that eurospeed can be there, not a co. that is not known here on the bords.

That's exactly what I'm saying. $410 shipped. Find out for yourself if you don't believe me.

I'm not saying that Eurospeed's GB deal is bad, just that there are alternatives. It's the same deal, anyway, only you won't have to wait for enough people to get the GB price.

Let's get this straight. You used this GB thread to get a better price on your average deal? You then decided to post that information on the very thread that you used in order to undermine it?

If you don't see a problem with that you are just clueless.

My guess is you are probably working with this liteswap guy to lowball a decent vendor. Why don't you stick to the Ebay posts with your lowballing.

That isn't exactly "lowballing" -- It's called price matching, and any "decent vendor" will do it--because if they are the same parts...in general(depending on how much each company sells) they pay the same price for the product...Thats retail man--it's how it works. Mark up on bulbs etc. is pretty big--I can get HID equipment through my company...not in large quantities because it has to be for my own use...but you'd be amazed to see what vendors pay for it...and how much they mark it up

If I knew mr. liteswap, then I would have just bought my lights at the lowball price and kept it to myself.

I had shot some questions over to the guy(s?) at liteswap and they were pretty responsive, so I was all set to order when I got wind of the GB price in this thread. I asked if they would price match because I had already developed the business relationship with liteswap, and they agreed. That's all there is to it.

FWIW, liteswap appears to be have been around about as long as Catz has offered these relatively new-to-market HID kits. That's from their mouths, not mine, so I can't verify that. I don't think it's wrong to share another vendor willing to offer a low price. Would you rather I got my deal and kept my mouth shut, unwilling to share my experience with everyone else? This wasn't some shady back-alley negotiation.

Do you know how low the pricing on this is? That is definitely lowballing when you get someone to offer that low of a price without a GB.

Anybody who doesn't think so is being cynical as to how much the vendors pay for these kits. Catz is an established company; these are not mix and match retro kits.

Get your facts straight--

First thing...Jetfire isn't talking about "mix and match retro kits"...he is talking about the same thing you are

Secondly...It's a good thing you are an expert as to the fact that the company he is talking about isn't an "honest" business...

Third...Look at your last line and compare it to what I just said above--you are attacking the company he is talking about by basically saying they aren't honest and saying they are selling mix and match kits

--Don't get your panties in a bunch because you are worried that because of what he says some people may just go with the other company instead of waiting for your group buy...causing you to not get the full rebate you want--

And finally--stop using the term lowballing...It makes no sense at all...Lowballing is trying to get something out of someone for LESS THAN THE SELLER SHOULD GET--you'd be suprised how much money they are still making off of you even a the GB price...All he is doing is trying to get the best price in the quickest time...it's is the way the retail world works...people dont want to wait for something when they can have it now--

You are posting in the hot deals section...and the way I look at it--jetfire found a pretty nice hot deal...he is trying to share that with everyone else--thats what this forum is all about

I think you need to interpret the post before you start lecturing about getting facts straight.

A. No one said he is talking about mix and match kits. The whole mix and match was brought up in response to your post about how vendors are making so much off of markups. You can only mark up the catz kits so much from these GB prices. You can call up Catz and ask them yourself.

B. So I am not attacking his company. If you want, you can post again and accuse me of it. I was commenting on why I buy from where I do because it is a good business.

It's not even about some stupid rebate. If I don't hit the target number of people, big deal; it isn't any amount of money to be worried about.

We almost have our group of people regardless of who buys on this forum.

It's the principle; I don't appreciate people riding threads and then posting alternatives to them.

He wouldn't have his deal if it wasn't for this thread.

It would have been another story if that was his deal in the first place that he posted on his accord.

I am getting tired of explaining this. If you want to have a different view that's fine. You aren't in my shoes so I guess it doesn't seem like something irritating to you.

Listen people! This is a Gb, on CATZ HIDs.Right? It is in the Hot deal part..right? So therefore, it is a GB price and a hot deal at that.

Jetfire, if you got it at the price u said, great. Also if u r willing to be generous and tell us about great too. But I think that you should post it in your own thread, instead of stating it on this GB THREAD.

This is a GB thread. Who cares what the vendors get them for. Are we all vendors? No! so the price out there is what people like us get it for.

Lets keep this straight and with the Gb for a good deal. All these replies, and not one is someone that wants in. I say start a new thread, and noone post only if they have some feedback on THE ACTUAL CATZ SYSTEM, and not the price, or if they want one.

and I only said what I did about vendors getting the product for cheap to get the lowballing out of the picture--jetfire was simply bringing in another place where people could get the price for very cheap...what is the harm in that--but nooze36 comes in busting on him for bringing that up and saying that he is bashing a good deal...there was no need to bust on the guy and no need to tell him to keep the info for himself
