Just to sum up the group buy. The hoods are for E36 BMW's only and they come either with vents or without them, both are the same price and yes the vents are open and funtional. The hoods come for both 2 door or 4 door cars . The price is $300 + Tax for local (Located in Milpitas CA) and $400 shipped. However, a $150 down payment must be put down on each hood because EG has to order 30 hoods in order to make this happen and doesnt want to be stuck without any money if people flake out. We only need 5 more people for the 20 people needed for this group buy to go down. The deposit needs to be in befor Aug. 28th so that the hoods can arrive around Sept. 15th. If you are interested please sign your name on the list at the other site.

Are you saying all CF hoods are tacky? Or just these brands. I agree that having a CF hood especially on non-black BMWs looks tacky(my personal opinion) but If you want to reduce some weight I think its a good idea and its not gonna look much different if you get it painted. Doesnt dado have a CF hood?
