Sorry. I assumed everyone's IE would be able to handle the nice colorful excel spreadsheet file that KW worked so long on for me. I converted it to plain html file so now everyone should have no problems seeing the listings.

I have tried several coilovers systems and this is by far the best. In it's category the V3's are unbeatable the next step would be like a moton setup but you could also get the racing 3 way adjustable system from KW (not included in the group buy of course, only for racing purposes).

I swear by them and to prove it, if any of you are in the area I will take you for a ride and your search for a street/track coilover system will be over.

David-

Do the KWs have the STUPID tender springs like on the PSS9? Those tender springs take up precious real estate under the wheel well...

I put in a 12mm spacer to avoid rubbing the tender spring and now I have to be careful about not rubbing the fender. Already rubbed the right front and bent it from autox...

I don't run spacers and they clear just fine, even when I tried a 245 slick which in metric size is almost 260.

Here are the pictures of the systems being offered in the group buy.

Jed, yes, most coilover kits running linear rate springs do run those STUPID tender springs... they actually do serve a purpose you know You can take them out though. Dan (Saint on bimmerforums) ran without the tender springs for a while. My roommate runs without the tender springs on his Mini Cooper S too. The only drawback is that it's going to be a little harsher on the street... but if you drive a RACE CAR, who cares eh!

Oh ok, gotcha. So the fronts are linear rate springs with the helper not like GC or TCK coilovers. I do know that they are needed for the linear rate springs on the coilovers such as PSS9 or FK. Just didn't know what type of design the KW was.

Thanks David!

Dado-

What is the offset on your front rims? I am running a 40mm offset on the front rims, and remember with 5mm, my tires were pushing into the tender when Pat lowered it. When he put the 12mm, it was fine, but now my front wheels are nearly flush with the front fenders. At a full left, my right tire rubs the fender. Perhaps an alignment/rim offset issue?

Sorry for the OT...

Also-can you specify the spring rates when you buy them? Or do they come with "off the shelf" rates?

Yeah, I read the review in EC a few months ago. Very impressive coilover...

Thanks again!

Hey Jed -- it's better to leave them as is since they're tuned as a complete system. You CAN specify custom spring rates but there is a charge of $150 on top of the kit for them to revalve the shocks to the spring rates.

18x9 et38 no problems at all and can even fit 265 in the front.
