Guys let's keep in mind here. I installed the wheel realizing it was ****ed up cause it's not like once you install it, there's no turning back. I said to myself OK, let's atleast see if it works and it didnt. It's a steering wheel, which you should be able to put back on and take off. Case in point my 4 spoke, me and my buddy took it off and put it back on. The fact he drilled it out left it with so little thread that it only had 1 life in it to go on the wheel. Also, installing the 3 spoke is not a HARD task by anymeans. If installed a Alpine 7894 by myself and that was also pretty easy, and this job is prob a little easier provided that you have parts that arent ****ed up.

i disagree.. its his fault for sending u a screwed part and trying to avoid u about it. try to talk to him and work things out, otherwise hunt him down and demand ur money

that is screwed up, that wheel is worthless after withstanding such abuse. I'm sure there is some legal action you can take though, the seller misrepresented the product, and that is illegal.

I know he goes to school in Jacksonville I believe. Magnus, I have done deals on eBay and the like for about 4 years and have never been ripped off but there's a first time for everything. He seemed legit cause of his eBay feedback. The funny thing is that he has a thing under his sig that says sorry for the attitude guys, girlfriend problem, im mellow now or some shit like that, i just can do a search. He's got some stuff left to move so hopefully people will take notice, it's important that we as a community at DTM help each other out.

i did try and work things out with him, he was unreasonable and told me to wait until he finsihed his exams (heaven forbid I the customer interrupt his schooling) and we would deal with things, he bolted.

not to piss you off too much 2pak...but check this SHIT OUT!!! Some time ago 1 to 2 months....i saw this same guy selling a 3-spoke... I contacted him for it, he says it was just sold...i said are you positive, b/c I reaaaaaaaaaally want one. He says, let me see, and I'll get back to you...he comes back to me and says he can get it to me for 500 plus shipping. I contemplated it and asked about paying COD, he said NO COD or paypal, only check.... I said NO DEAL.

Some time passed, and i get an IM from this camljoky guy....and he says "He MIGHT have another 3-spoke in about a week"... "That he had to find out and deal with something".... BUT, and here is the kicker....THAT it would need a NEW SLIPRING. Me, not knowing much, said I would look into that, and talk to him again.

Days later I came across a 3-spoke with bag for a great price....it came to me in 3 days....and was in PERFECT condition.... So i never contacted him again...nor did he me....

But it seems to be that F-cker was trying to sell your busted up wheel before he took it back from you again... WHAT A C-CK SUCKER!!!!

I'm sorry this happened to you, I know, it's alot of cash to be out!!! I hope it gets resolved in your favor. I say pay the guy a visit....and make him give you the 3-spoke from his shiny new EB 99 M3....

Shit, MRyder, that's ****in nuts. Dude, did you get your 3spoke from that guy selllin it on bimmer.org, in New Jersey for like 475. I can't believe Andrew. Guys, Im in BOSTON right now for school, I never thought about contacting his mom, I think I know her name cause the label he used on the box is one of those ones you get in 100 sticker sets with flowers on the border and it has some ladies name. I told him to give me a refund, even though he said no he was prob seeing if he could turn it around for a profit. How much new is the 3 spoke from Circle MRyder, i remember seeing ur post about how it was 260, is that with CCA discount? Anyone in that area wanna roll over there DTM style, otherwise Ill be in his neck of the woods come next summer when I drive my baby back home to Miami.

i know how u feel, this guy is a ****ing bum and a bastard, some guy ripped me off of 500 and it pisses me off when people get played

my advice would be to try and get in contact with his mom or dad (since hes being a dick) and tell them the situation and see how they work it out, if not then i would persue some legal action, even tho its not that much money this guy has been trying to **** ppl over for a while and he needs to be stopped

**** this guy, if i were in his area i would seriously take care of this shit any way i could, this punk deserve whatever comes to him

But seriously, this guy basically MUGGED you. Call him and give him one more chance to make it right. If he starts getting snooty then just tell him, "Ok.....forget it.....you aren't responding over the phone so am I going to have to come to your residence in person to show you how serious I am about money". You gotta get serious about the money. He sold you some bunk-azz crap. He's a total shiester. Only one way to make it right, bo. Now get your game-face on and pay that lil' c0ck-sucker a visit.

Sorry to hear what happened to you.

Unfortunately, there's always someone out there who screws things up for the rest of us.

I know it's a bit late for this advice, but you may as well as do this in all of your future transactions. Try actually phoning the seller or having him/her call you before you conduct the transaction.

No matter whom I am dealing with here on DTM, any transaction over $100 has to be spoken over on the phone before I shell out my money.

Trust me, talking on the phone may not seem much, but it does tell you a whole lot about the seller. I usually don't want to deal with kids (meaning anyone who's under legal age-- no offense to some college students) just because of the extra hassels that I may have to go thru in case something bad happens.

Best of luck to you and I hope you'll get something back in return.
