Man...I'm surprised my login info here still works. Looks like the last time I was around was in 2005. Anyway...
For anyone interested, we are starting, or at least attempting to start up, a weekly Saturday night meet in Ft. Worth. While I don't mind driving out to Addison or Richardson or where ever, it gets kinda old. Our first meet was last week and it was so so, but we are trying to get it to grow bigger. Most of the meets I go to, I hardly see any Bimmers, and if I do its usually only one or two, but I know we have alot more in the area (hell, I worked at a BMW dealership for a while, I saw most of them). So I wanted to see if I could generate a little BMW interest. Figured I head back over here, thinking this is where all the fun BMW owners are.
We meet up around 8:00pm at the City View Parking lot off I20 and Bryant Irvin. We were there a little longer last time, but the goal is to leave for a cruise around 9:15, heading to downtown Ft. Worth to hit up a bar for a while, or just chill or whatever you want. Last time we did the Flying Saucer, but we lost some people due to the whole age requirement thing, so this time we are thinking the Down Town Chillis or Bennigans.
I'd love to see some BMWs show up, always been a fan of them, and I would have picked up a second one if that whole "real world" thing didn't happen. I'm hoping to see some of you guys roll out. We have a few pictures from our last meet in case anyone wants to take a look at them, and hey, we also have a flier!
Getting to the lot is easy. Heading west, just exit Bryant Irvin, turn left over I20, and turn right into the first parking lot. We park out in front of Academy on the I20 side of the lot. Heading east, just exity BI and turn right, directions remain the same after that. Again, hoping to see some of you guys out there!
