Teen Driving Clinic

Well if any of you have heard of xtreme measures, it's a teenage driving clinic that teaches teenagers car safety with the help of skid pads, slolums, and braking exercises including abs stopping and wet service stopping.

This school is taught in the infield of lowes motor speed way and is very fun for students and instructs. I myself took the school two times and now just waiting to turn 18 soon to become an instructor. If you would like to participate in any way, either taking the school or instructing contact the geoff on the website. www.xtrememeasures.org

any help is needed, so if your available the weekend of dec 10-11. or any other dates posted on the website please help out. We have more students than instructors and that decreases in the the students individual track time.

instructors DO get track time and the use of the water trucks. Heres a pic of me out there during the classroom time.

what kind of experience is needed to instruct? JP would make a good instructor. har har har. i, on the other hand, havent had hardly any real track time (minus one driving school at rockingham). looks like fun...

anything i can do to help besides instruct, because im not instructor material. i just dont know enough.

This really is a great program. Some of us on the board have already instructed at a few of these.

Jordan, you could always volunteer for the Grounds Crew. They run the water trucks and grids. Then you could go spin around in circles while the students are in class.

This looks like fun...don't bring anything to the table as far as instructing goes, possibly some extra help?

Yea like 155//mph said, any help is needed. Either station workers or cone shaggers, anything...

like any school it always runs smoother when there are more people to help out.

Yeah, this program sounds really nice. So you drive your own car or what? It sounds a bit like the Teen Driving program that BMW offers, but for a lot less. Is there an age limit?

I've seen students from 15 up to 40.

Yes, you do drive your own car. It is very much like the Street Survival Program.
