NC/SC meet - Karting in Charlotte

I just went with some guys to a Porsche event there, I know

However, the karting itself was a blast.

We did a practice, qualifying, and race format. Around 10 min each, for $45 dollars + $15 for a membership.

As I'm sure Bobbert will add, the racing was well worth the price of admission.

I'd be up for organizing the event if I can get some DEFINITE commitments from people. With a good size group, we should be able to finagle the price some.

As a Beer Tech Sanctioned event, request #1 cannot be met.

Request #2 should be considered obligatory. . . .

I'm thinking mid to late Aug. Anyone else who is not Ian have a suggestion?
