Feeler for a meeting in Columbia, SC

I'm setting up a meeting here in Columbia, SC. They built a new shopping center near me, and there's a lot of unused parking lot there at night.

Also, would people be interested in coming to this meet? It'd be easy to get to, and there are a few roads nearby that have a lot of twisties, so it's not just gonna be a "stand around a parking lot and BS" meet.

sounds nice. probably would want to have it in NC tho!!! NAH j/k but i would def come. i want to go to some kind of BMW meet soon. i am stuck in this freak'n town they call SAnford in NC. i liked GA better when i lived there!

If I can get away from Base, Id be down for the drive. It sucks being one of the only folks that actually Drive BMW's on base.

I have to get with the manager of the store, to see what they say about it.

Then again, we could just show up in their lot...say the 25th? That's a Friday, just for a feeler meet-up and hang-out. I'd have to give more warning at work to have a weekend or Saturday off.

I wish I could make it the 25th, but I will be at a Seat-Time Track day down at Roebling Road in GA. You guys should come do the track event, they have two days on 25th and 26th.

I'm supposed to be riding with the Lexington County Po-po on the 2nd of April...I get to see what the cops see (and learn something that'll decrease my chances of getting busted for stuff)...so it can't be that weekend.

How are weekends for you guys? Would the weekend work better? Saturdays work? I could probably get off work early and go for a ride in the afternoon, if that works? As for the 25th, we could meet up then make a run for some wings or somethin...ideas?

Tonight. Meet up around 8. Hang out for a bit, then go eat. World Market parking lot, off Clemson Rd. right by the intersection with Two Notch Rd. (Northeast Columbia.)
Accessible from either I-77 or I-20.
From I-20 towards Florence, take the Clemson Rd. exit. Turn left and go towards the gas stations and stuff. Stay on Clemson Roda until you cross over Two Notch (#1). You'll see the parking lot right there on your left.

From I-77 towards Charlotte, take the Killian Rd. exit, and turn right. Thru the red light, cross the tracks, then left at the stop. Take the next right (this is Clemson Rd.). Continue past Hard Scrabble Rd. and proceed until you see the lot on your right.

It was a beautiful night for a meet...wish you were there. I'll be setting up another one for next month, so be warned. Hopefully more people will make it out. Still taking suggestions.

Well, tonight it's raining. Well, it is at 7 o'clock at least. This is going to be the first meet, so I don't know how many people will show up. Hopefully next month is clearer. I'm still planning to get some wings at Carolina Wings on the corner of Clemson and Hard Scrabble...in about an hour (8ish). I'll be there for a while, then out to the lot.

I'll be the kid in the blue jersey and red USC hat.
