Southside ATL Folks - 18 July mini-meet

Hey guys in the Fayetteville, Newnan, PTC area...

A couple Audi and VW guys are probably going to be meeting this upcoming Friday at Starbucks and you guys are welcome to attend. I know that at least mark50bk or something like that is down in this area.

We're going to meet at 8.00PM in the Starbucks parking lot in the Avenue shopping centre at the Ga54/74 intersection.

I am also going to have my laptop and blank CD's on hand to burn anyone who asks a cd with hi-res versions of both videos from the 2003 SEMAG.

um, where exactly is the meet and in what county?

is it just a meet or will you guys go eat somewhere and do something afterwards?

i live north of atlanta (gwinnett), so how long would it take me to get there? i prolly won't make it but i'll keep it as a posibillity.

Starbucks at the intersection of Ga54/74 in Fayette County, take I-85 South (outside the Perimeter - about 20 minutes south of the Airport) to the Peachtree City/Fairburn exit, make a left (go over freeway) and several miles down the road is a big intersection where the road you're on (Ga74) merges from 4 lanes to 2 lanes. Make a right at that intersection (don't go through it) and at your first light (just up the road) make a left into the Avenue shopping centre. Starbucks is on your left.

From Gwinnett it'd be at least an hour, possibly much more depending on your driving style. I think I could do it in 1.15 to 1.30. Might not be worth driving all this way... theres a big Audi meet if you keep up with Audiworld planned for August though (since I see you're a fellow Audi driver). It's not going to be big, just some car guys meeting in a parking lot and sharing stories, talkin about the cars and checkin them out. There are some food places right there if anyone's hungry though.
