I'll film it, I have a bunch of car camera mounts and 4 cameras, 2 broadcast quality and 2 normal digital cameras.

i think i recruited one of my friends from work (a 318) none the less a bimmer...is there a decision of Myrtle or wilmington? i'm werkin my arse off to get some money to fix my brakes which are metal on metal now

im gonna be shooting some vid as well with camera mounts and all that.....Its gonna be edited and hosted on GSMs website -GSM is where we will get some of the sicker drift/burnout footage since they are letting us meet up there and do whatever we want legally......if anyone else wants to host their video on there or if you get some good footage I can mix it in with mine

I think that is a good idea. I dought anyone coming will be doing this anyway.

But you can't really tell someone what they can tape and if they can sell it.

actually you can, need release forms from each person on the trip if you plan on selling it.

well we don't need to argue about it, but I have to deal with this stuff often and my lawyer says that technically you need written permission to show someone's face or license plate. If you blurr their face and license plate, then you are within legal limits. And you can film anything you want unless it is on private property, and since this drive will be taking place on public roads, there is no legal limitation.

Who all takes their BMW to Eurospeed? People have been telling me I should take my M3 there, but I haven't had the chance.

I will already be headed down to Myrtle Beach on those dates. I just found this thread today (5/13). I had no idea there were so many NC guys on here. I'm just outside of Charlotte. Anyway, keep me posted becuase if you decide on Myrtle Beach, I'm there for sure.

bmwm3n528 - I got about 30 minutes of filming with the cap on from your last trip up here to the mountains when you were using my camera

To everyone else: I wasn't referring to pictures, but rather videotaping of the trip when I said what I did about having written conscent. This is due to a few people who are "bumping heads" which are coming on this trip. I'm requiring this to keep things from becoming hostile between anyone on the trip. Its for this reason that I ask everyone to respect these wishes.

That goes for you too D RUCK, reguardless of what your lawyer has to say.

Please understand that this does not limit ANYONE from filming ANYTHING at all. The only thing it limits is the use of the filming for financial gains. Therefore hosting a video on a website (i.e. GSM's site) for free viewing is fine.

this trips gonna be tight, whats the running head count as of now? Budget inn here we come!!

also, i just saw that dado might be coming?? does that mean the beastly m3 will be done

If Zamerd comes, then it will be 34 as of righ tnow. Yes, Dado said that if he doesnt have anything else to do he'll be coming down. As for the car, who knows.

As for the trip, the trip will be to Wilmington (final destination). However, we will be taking a trip down to Myrtle Beach for a few hours to chill down there and get a small cruise in. It's an hour straight down a single highway, and if its anything like last year, it'll be very much fun! So dont worry, we'll make it down to Myrtle Beach, but out final destination is Wilmington.

So remember... WILMINGTON, is where we'll be. I'm going to the beach this weekend, I'll check out prices on beachfront hotels.
