Florida has two bills on the table to make stricter rules against racing and drag racing on public highways, but it's solely up to the discretion of the police officers to make the call... no standards are specified. So essentially, a police office could give you a ticket for racing a ice cream truck as you tried to merge onto a public highway.

I wouldn't put it beyond FHP to pull that ish either...

with the law written that way though, it's bound to get challenged in court... every time
