| yeh the same problem happened with me, a while ago when i used to download music it sometimes didn't completely finish and was left as a .dat file. I asked my mate how can i change this, he said and showed me by going running your command program you can manually change the ending of the file you want. For example (song.dat to song.mp3 or song.wma). If you know how to use command its pretty easy, saying this i don't know if it will fix your problem but its worth a try...Good luck!!

, go to start menu then go to run and then just type in cmd. A black box should come up with something like C:/ with some writing after that. Now you only need to find the file which you want to change then change the file extention appropriately, For exampleOriginal File C:/whatever/whatever/blah.ram New file C:/whatever/whatever/blah.mp3 you have to physically type in whatever the song(s) called (in this case i called it blah ) then you type in .mp3. Reading your next message it says it still doesn't work, i assume it still didn't work, sorry i can't think of much more...

| ok i tired it again, the first time i just right clicked on it and went to rename and typed MP3 behind it, im a dumbass sometimes when it comes to computers. This time i put the song in the commnad box and changed the .ram to .mp3 and hit enter(?) but it only gave me a message bellow saying it was an unrecognized format. is there anything else i should be doing? maybe .ram just cant be converted into an mp3 format. thanks Miksta |
