Signature Limits

All signatures should not exceed the following size limits, if you do you will receive WARNING points.

ONE! image up to 400px W X 400px H and 100k in size. Text should not exceed more then 4 lines.

No gratuitous or suggestive images.

No URL links or hyperlinking to for-profit sites.

No company banners, the only advertising option that we have are the rotation banners up top.

Using DTM as hot linking to only host your pictures and post somewhere else will result in instant ban.

We have received some questions about what links are allowed in posts on the message board. The answer is that just about any non-commercial link is allowed. You can even have links in your signature to your own non-commercial site.

We do ask that if you have a link in your signature to your own site that you link back to us as a quid pro quo. We are happy for enthusiasts to direct traffic to their own sites from DTM Power, but it is only fair for them to direct traffic back to DTM Power.

wouldn't it have been more wise to say a sig pic of 1600 pixels? because i like the wide sigs, but whatever.

Sorry guys, it would be nice to send an explanation or a warning to each person but there are just too many users! It is kinda rude but there is no other way to enforce, I hope you understand.

Dado, do u know if there's anyway u can find the url of my sig pic and post it up here? I can't seem to find it on my comp, still looking around though, well anyways if it's possible, let me know, thanks

I know I am a little late on this one, but THANK YOU! As a dial up user, I hate to spend a whole bunch of time waiting for sig pics, which I have already seen a thousand times, to load. Also the pics that were so wide that you had to scroll back and forth to read the thread on a 17" monitor.

SOLUTION TO WIDE SIGS:

As I see it, the short but wide ones are better- like Notorious. As we cant post anything more the 400 wide now, but can post multiple pics...cut up your sig into 2 x 400 wide sections and post it that way. Thats what I want to do when I get my new pics developed.

PS I think we get the biggest sigs of any forum here anyway...most others dont allow images AT ALL
