How to remove the headlights????

I just want to find out...how do u remove the headlights from the e36 bmw....ive never battled so much in my life to get the damn things out...can anyone of u help me out and tell me how do it?????

2 bolts holding them down... to the side/behind headlights

and 3? on top...

This is correct. The stock headlights have 3 screws that connect the top of the light (used for leveling the light) and a screw that must be removed by taking out your corners, and then another screw directly behind the headlight.....

5 bolts holding them in... 3 across the top (I'm sure you've already figure these three out. One that points straight down behind your parking light, and the last night (also pointing straight down) is a little tricky to get to, but is closest to the kidney grills. You have to remove the black plastic, triangular shroud that is centered on top of the kidney grills. (Or at least remove the few screws on the side so that you can gently bend back the shroud to get access to that last headlight bolt. Good luck.
