Need your input for my Widebody E36 project- E39 conversion vs. custom E36 front

FYI- PLAN B IS ALREADY UNDERWAY PLEASE CHECK LAST FEW PAGES TO SEE WHAT'S UP

Ok guys I am going to keep this simple...

I am trying make a final decision here but its killin me. A shop is building me up a 93' 325i 4D. The car will be equipped with the Full Rieger Inf. 2 widebody kit W/ACS side skirts molded into flares and all that good stuff. Here are my two options

My shop basically told me that they can build what ever I design in photoshop which leads me to the 2 main designs...

Plan A: Convert the whole front of the car to the E39 look(Euro clear 1 piece Headlights, M5 Hood, custom fenders)

Pros:
-First widebody E39 mutt in America
-Will be 100% functional( Headlights can be adjusted taken out with ease.
-Would just be unbelievably DOPE

Cons:
-Cost me $4,000 dollars out of my pocket, and that's at 1/3 labor cost.
-Will take them a month longer to finish my car(4 months total
-A chance it will not look just right on an E36(Cars lines, style ect.)
-If anyone ever hit more or anything it would be bad news

Pic of Plan A....

Plan B: Convert the nose piece to wrap all the way around the headlights and corners.

Pros:
-Will only cost me max $500 for headlights W/+Color matched or CF interior+DDE. Labor will be free
-Retains the original E36 look with a little twist
-I figured out a really easy way to be able to just slide the nose piece straight out after removing 4 bolts(Easy to get headlight assembles out)
-With the $$ saved I can get some other goodies(HID6K, BBk, etc.)

Cons:
-The eyes wont be as bright as the real deal but that’s about it

Pic of Plan B...

Both...

I am pretty sold on plan B now but from the beginning I had my heart set on doing the E39 conversion but it might be just a bit over kill and if it did not look just right it would always get to me, ya feel me. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, Sean Behm

i would go with plan B, easier to do, get your car quicker, and you dont ruin the 3 series image by slapping some 5 series stuff on the front. Although since it is a show car and you wold get mad points for it i still like B better though.

Plan B all the way......god forbid if someone hit u with the e39 conversion i think u would just throw in the towel..its like throwing 4k out the window. I think plan b pic looks bad-ass. I would also be afraid of the e39 conv. not looking right, if that happened u would be screwed! Either way i cant' wait to see your new car

Thank a lot guys. Yea all the shaving/molding you see in the pics is %100 accurate My body shop is working directly with the picture which I am thinking will be plan B I am going to have to figure out what paint I want to get which is going to be the next big decision Keep the comments coming

Another big decision that I cant get off my mind is if I should do some sort of hood vents/scoops??? I am trying to think of as much as possible and take advantage of the free body work

Throw out any little ideas you guys have

Sean

So if you went with Plan A your car would look like this?

I say go with Plan B. You don't want to over do it.

BTW, that is an E36, right?
