My e36 316i truned in to 325i :D

It all started 1 and a half year ago when i bought these Bmw 316i.....it was a bit messed up.....I started with the reconstruction of the interior, replacing the leather seats and restorating the door panel's. I changed the suspension stearing wheel, hand brake and shifter with MOMO stuff....and a little bit of window tint....it started to look a little bit different...

Looking good but 101 hp

So I switched to stage 2 and I boath a 192hp engine 2500cmc.....and together with a friend we started working to mount the new engine. It took us 2 weeks to mount the engine due to the fact that we worked outside at -3 degrees Celsius...but we succeeded and one night at 2am we've heard it running. Then followed the exaust conception.
After i saw the engine running i moved my attention to the exterior look of my car....so I bought a pair of 17'' BBS LM wheels....because they were too large 8.5 j front and 10j rear I had modified the fender's....so I took the car to a workshop...so if the the band is singing let's dance....and i repainted the whole car.
With wide body-kit, fresh paint new engine and new wheel's I sad it is time for a dyno test Speed Zoom - Testari dyno si servicii chip tuning in Cluj .... the result was 180.3 engine hp and 142.7 wheel hp...but not enough for me......so i bouth an ALPINA ECU for my non-vanos engine and here came the satisfaction.... 199.4 engine hp and 156.6 hp at the wheels.
Now i'm working on the braking system, replaceing it whit stock 325i brake's!

Good stuff dude! i wouldn't mind a 325/8 engine either

142 rwhp seems low, even for a stock non vanos engine. mine was around 157 rwhp... i wonder if for once we Americans DIDN'T get screwed out of a decent engine BMW offered. Alpina ECU, how did you come across that? An Alpina chip you mean?

A friend of mine found'ed the Alpina ecu on a non-running 325i, the car was bought for spare parts. IT WAS LUCK!!!

the car is brilliant ,its without the doubt ,but was it worth to do so much work (i really know how hard it would be

)

i mean was it so cheap to buy as 316 and then rebuilt to 325...
how much you paid for this 316 (before doing something)

The car cost me 5300 euro, and the custom work was also about 5000 euro...and a lot of hours of hard work...around 14000 $

damn thats not cheap

wouldnt it better if you just bought 325 and after tune that...you could gain muuch more

Yes...that was my first plan....but after 3 mounts of trying to sell the 316 and no results....and everyone telling me is beautiful car but the engine is too small for them....
