I thought you guys would be a bit more open minded about it like all the time and money that's been put into it not just like " OH ITS PINK AND GOT CHROME WHEELS ITS RICE " I understand that not everybody gunna love it but shit i mean i could say who wants to own a black 325i with 18 inch mags that looks like a grandpas car but a don't give a shit if a cars clean and tidy and had a lot of money put into it i give it the respect it deserves even if i hate it i respect the time and effort that's been put into it.

man, everyone's doggin' it because you missed the point of what a BMW is. it's not just another civic or S2K or anything from 2F2F. a BMW is a classy, well respected automobile. you did spend a lot of money, but the money isn't what it's about. you could have put that money from the wheels, pepto paint, and chrome EVERYTHING, and put it into suspension and engine and maybe a modest body kit. in my eyes (and apparently a few others) you really missed the mark on customizing a BMW. congrats on having a car that you enjoy, but i think, in this case, you should keep the enjoyment to yourself.

We don't hate cause we got nothing better to do, it's just - you have taste that is not suited for the car you own.

That's a lot of money and effort - wasted. And I say that because no where in the world this would be considered "cool" by the majority of the population.

However, if you're enjoying it - kudos. I had gay headlights like that too, 6 years ago, until i was approached by a few BMW fans and politely told that I'm an idiot and should have them changed.

Then it clicked. And it was all good.

Let me tell you this:

I can live with the chrome,
i can live with the retarded headlights (and they are awful, they will leak moisture within a few months to a year and the chrome inside will fade away -but that's all experience bro),
i can even live with the catastrophic paint; but what kills it for me and the rest of the DTMPOWER.NET forum - is the ultra homosexual wheels and the Altezza tail lights.

There's a reason why they are called Altezza - they belong on a Toyota Altezza.

I have no comment on the wheels.

Maybe try some researching next time, see what the others have done, analyze that and maybe you can come up with something similar. Not necessarily copy and paste, but something that people won't stab you in the eye with a pencil for.

Bimmers have very distinct heritage and they have very distinct lines. Fucking around with the lines like that is like spitting at the Pope.
