Big fan of the project. What are the plans for it? Racing?

i love the interior and the engine. but i have to be honest, the outside looks too much like what a riced-out civic would look like. IMO the wheels shouldn't have been painted and bad choice in tail lights. but of course, i wouldn't complain when i see it fly pass me on a highway. what kind of intake is that? i've seen it a couple of times but i don't know what the name is. and is it just for turbos?

overall nice car man. i can respect just about any car that took time and dedication. definitly an improvement over what you started with

For now its going to be racing/show @ the track. Got a small problem getting it registrered for normal road use here in Norway.

I understand what you mean, last year my project was getting the engine up working and this year (winter) i have been working on the finish (exterior/interior) of the car. To be a clean track car it might be a bit much, but well it ended up this way. As i mentioned above, this will be a trackcar/showcar (not only stant still, but actually smoke some tires too).

Thanks for the feedback.

ok so in the 4th picture from may 24th you can see some of the ignition system...apparently a bit different from the stock setup. I'm just wondering what's different, the wires from the coil packs seem to collect on what looks like a rail or something.

Might be overstepping some gearhead line...but how much did you drop into just rebuilding the engine? Is everything new?

those white rims look sick to me. Very clean and i like that blue too. Nice color. Although the tail lights are pretty horrid. Is there going to be a custom front bumper in the future? Man that thing is gunna look sick. Blue/white is a good combo.

As i am sure you know the stock setup has 6individual coils, when i installed my engine management system i changed to waste spark ignition. This means it sparks on 2x plugs/cylinders at a time. For this i use 3x double Haltech coils, it works really good. To get enough power to the coils i also need a power amplifier, which are placed inside of the car.

Everything inside the engine is new, and balanced. Not sure exactly how much i used on it, but 20k goes fast

Yeah, the front bumper is a modified Rieger Infinity II. Will post pictures of it within next week.

love the car, the color combo to me is very loud but i like it, the tail lights i dont like, personally i think the L.E.D lights that have come out for E36 would look much better, but that is just my opinion.

Did i mention i love your car

Ohh man that's a sweet looking car! Love the digidash!

Does the airbox only fit with a turbo or does it also fit without a turbo?

Where on the dyno the other day and the results was 361rwhp/495nm @ 1,2bar.

Calculated to ca. 400hp in engine, i was very happy with the results.

Dyno/Mapping was done by PPF (Pure Performance) in Avesta, Sweden.
