Maybe it's a downgrade, maybe not. But, I see a lot of people going from E46s and replacing them with E36s. Albeit I may have chosen to get rid of my E46, I just as well could have replaced it with another. I still miss her, but the E36 is more me. It's much more raw and less dainty. Auf wiedersehen E46.

E36 in Winter mode:
I bought this '96 328is at the beginning of August with 110k. The weather here hasn't given me a chance to start modding. Instead I just used the winter to do maintenance, including the cooling system, Bilstein coilovers to replace the blown original suspension, the original exhaust sounded like a kettle-corn popper, new clutch in two weeks, and a few other little things here and there...In the Spring the real fun will start :evil2
Anyone think this is too low? I'm on the fence.
Take-Off (5-85ish)
The sounds quality is much better than the visual.
In-Car
I'm still not even sure what direction to go in, but it's a decent foundation to start with. I'm thinking either the same wheels that were on my E46, but 17x9, with a three inch lip, and in either gold or silver. Or D-Force lightweights in anthracite...or BBS LMs. I don't know.
I'm not one for blaspheming, but an M3 front bumper will be in the works for sure, as will the skirts and a low rise ltw. If I wasn't going to do any go fast mods or suspension, I'd probably just leave it looks wise. But the 328is badge will remain on the trunk regardless and if things stay on track as they have, she'll be pulling stock M3s by May :devillook
